Immigration Requirements While In Malaysia
  1. You must satisfy program requirements by attending at least 80% of all scheduled classes and achieve a minimum satisfactory academic result of a CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 in any given semester of study. Failure to do so will result in the revocation or non-renewal of your Student Pass.
  2. Class attendance is compulsory at all times unless you are able to provide a Medical Certificate (MC) from a certified doctor. Consistent failure to do so will result in your Student Pass being revoked.
  3. You are required to take responsibility of monitoring the expiry dates of your passport and Student Pass.
  4. Where a renewal of the Student Pass is required, you must submit your passport to the International Student Office at least 2 months prior to the expiry of the pass to facilitate the extension. Failure to do so would result in a charge of additional RM500.00
  5. All penalties imposed by the Malaysian Immigration Department in the event of late extension or expiry of Student Pass will be solely borne by you.
  6. You must complete the Graduate Traceability Form and inform the International Student Office at least two weeks before completion of your final semester at ICOM. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the Bond Deposit.
