  8. Delivery Policy

    When you click to make a payment with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any payment through this website unless you understand and agree all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries, please contact us before making any payment for any service through this website.

  9. Application processing

    Your application processing will not begin until we receive your application and full payment.

  10. Refunds/returns Policy

    There is no refund of payment made by you for our services for whatsoever reasons.

  11. Payment Options and Pricing

    All transactions will be processed in Ringgit Malaysia (RM). International College of Music reserves the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.

  12. Online Payment

    We accept Mastercard and Visa credit cards and electronic fund transfers. If you do not prefer these options, simply log off and return to the website at a later time to complete your transaction or you may call the Office of Admissions for other modes of payment. All of your details will be saved online for a period of ninety (90) days and thereafter removed from the server. You will be required to start your application from the start.

  13. Security Policy
    • iPay88 process all online transactions through this website. All online monetary transactions are 128-bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate iPay88 to obtain confidential information.
    • iPay88 is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. iPay88 Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
    • The Merchant does not have access to credit details.
    • iPay88 continually reviews and enhances its security in line with technological changes.

  6. Changes to this Privacy Policy

    ICOM may modify or amend this policy at any time provided the policy still complies with the relevant privacy legislation. Information will be held and used in accordance with the privacy policy, as amended from time to time. Berklee College of Music

ICOM is a member of the Berklee Global Partners (BGP) Network, and has an academic partnership, which is the most comprehensive partnerships Berklee has with external educational institutions. Through a credit-transfer agreement (CTA), the curricular alignment between ICOM and Berklee allows students to transfer specific courses taken at ICOM’s FIM program to Berklee in order to complete their program of study.

ICOM has been in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton (UK) since 2009 and through their Transnational Education (TNE) we are jointly able to give students the opportunity to study in Malaysia for a University of Wolverhampton degree in music.

University of Hertfordshire (UK)

ICOM has a degree top-up agreement with the University of Hertfordshire (UK) to enable students who complete the Diploma in Business (Music Industry) at ICOM to continue their study on the University’s Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Music Industry Management.

Accreditation

ICOM is registered with the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education.

  • Academic Positions
    1. 1. Full Time Lecturer in Music Production/Audio Engineering

      Reporting to the Head of Program, you would teach audio theory, acoustics, live sound, digital audio, and recording methods. Knowledge of 21st century commercial production and engineering is imperative.


    General Duties:
    • Teach 240 hours per semester (face-to-face and tutorials)
    • Lesson planning, assessment and curriculum development
    • Grading/marking
    • Peer Review & Assessment
    • Research or sustained artistic endeavor in performance, composition or production
    • Serve on the College’s boards or committees for academic matters
    • Engage in student recruitment, efforts each semester (some domestic travel involved)
    Requirement:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sibelius, Logic Audio and/or Pro Tools
    • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
    • Well experienced in Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum development and instruction.
    • Able to work Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 7:00pm
    Remuneration Package

    Employment contract is for a minimum period of 2 years. The salary package includes 4 weeks paid College semester breaks, employer’s EPF contribution and company medical insurance benefits.

    1. Job Summary and Description

      Reporting to the Enrolment Manager, the Marketing Executive handles all areas of student recruitment and student services, which include but are not limited to the following:

    • Implement approved marketing strategies, both digital and traditional;
    • Engage with recruitment agents to recruit students who meet the College’s admissions requirements;
    • Participate in education/trade fairs domestically and/or overseas to recruit students for the College;
    • Achieve student enrolment targets each semester though conversion of lead generation;
    • Secure music gigs for students/alumni to generate non-tuition revenue for the College.
    • Provide student services on all matters relating to orientation, registration, student life activities, graduation and alumni relations;
    • Perform data entry of admissions into the campus management system for data reporting

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
    • Proven work experience in digital marketing (including social media) and sales
    • Knowledgeable in student recruitment at college/university level
    • Excellent communication skills English/BM, knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage
