Music Production with Abu Adnan Hassan, 25th August, Recital Hall

Adnan Abu Hassan, a well known figure in the Malaysian music industry, has penned and produced songs for more than 40 artists including Sheila Majid, Siti Nurhaliza, Erra Fazira, Misha Omar, the late Sudirman and many other popular names over the span of more than 2 decades.

Adnan was at ICOM to conduct a workshop on music production. He took the students through all the different aspects of music production ; from steps to becoming a producer, to vocal production, arrangement and to choosing your production personnel.

Hassan, who is a Berklee College of Music graduate, started his music career as a music lecturer at Universiti Technology MARA ( UiTM ) Apart from that, he was an A&R manager for CBS Records and General Manager for Suria Records (SRC) , where he signed platinum-selling singer Siti Nurhaliza and produced her self-titled debut album and a string of hits.
