Vice President - Academic Affairs
OUTLINE SCOPE OF WORK

-Provide leadership in the development of academic policies, standards and regulations

-Lead the development, coordination, and implementation of curricula and instruction at the College

-Selection of faculty and staff as well as, promotion, and tenure of faculty
-Development of academic budget, allocating and managing academic resources
-Provide leadership in the development of research
 
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

-Minimum PhD in Music / Education

-Senior level academic administrative experience in a college or university specializing in Performing Arts

-Proven track record of advanced leadership skills and qualities

-Superior interpersonal skills and knowledge of conflict resolution
-Resume and statement of accomplishments are required
-A background check will be required for the successful candidate
 
 
OUTLINE SCOPE OF WORK

-Teach in the programme

-Responsible for all aspects of student induction, teaching and assessment of students

-Responsible for selection and hire of faculty and administrative staff related to the programme
-Responsible for the ongoing development of curriculum and programme administration
-Manage the budget for the programme

-Significant knowledge and experience (professional/teaching) in related discipline

Division of Operations

Marketing and Event Executive
OUTLINE SCOPE OF WORK
- Responsible for student recruitment including Advertising & Promotion, School Visit, Exhibition etc
- Working with clients to develop and implement a successful event.
- Building PR within the related industry to create sales leads.
 
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
-Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Business Studies, Economics, Marketing, Mass Communication or equivalent.
-At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
-Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
-Own transport and must be willing to travel.
 
 
Sales / Marketing Executive
OUTLINE SCOPE OF WORK
- Responsible for student recruitment including Advertising & Promotion, School Visit, Exhibition, etc.
- Generating sales through rental of equipment and corporate functions
- Working with clients to develop and implement a successful event.
- Building PR within the related industry to create sales leads.
- Responsible for P & L of the department.
 
In addition, you may also be required to perform other special college-related assignments as approved by the President or designate.
 
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma / Degree in Marketing / Business
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in a college environment and / or high end market segment.
- Proactive, result-oriented and self-driven.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of web based marketing tools.
- Candidates who have music education / background have an added advantage.
 
 
OUTLINE SCOPE OF WORK
-Manage all areas relating to offices of Registrar and Student Services
-Plan and secure resources and materials to support course offering
-Organize activities for student body
-Counsel students and parents on courses and college policies including regular school visitations.
 
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in any discipline.
- At least 2 years of working experience in similar position.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Demonstrate strong organizational and follow-up skills.
-Knowledge of the Malaysian education system and familiar with the key issues relating to the students welfare will be an added advantage.
 
 

Student Services Officer

OUTLINE SCOPE OF WORK
-Support all areas relating to admission, registration, immigration, orientation etc.
-Counsel students and parents on courses and college policies including regular school visitations.
-Plan and organize the ICOM Weekend School
 
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
-Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any discipline.
-Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
 
 
Accounts Officer
OUTLINE SCOPE OF WORK
-Month end closing & reporting
-Manage student payment, petty cash and cheques
-Purchase Order and system receiving functions
-Prepare accounting schedule, financial reports & monthly reconciliations
-Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations & other statutory requirements
 
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum LCCI/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of working experience in related field
-Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be computer literate, knowledge in Biztrak Accounting System will be an added advantage
 
 

Librarian/Assistant Librarian

OUTLINE SCOPE OF WORK
-Sourcing, ordering, cataloging and maintaining of books, periodicals, magazines and audio/video materials.
- Administrate e-library at the college.
 
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
-Degree in Library Science
-Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a college environment
-Proactive, resulted and self-driven. Able to work under minimum supervision.
 
 
OUTLINE SCOPE OF WORK
-Engineer college production activities as assigned in the set-up, recording, mixing or postproduction works.

-Provide system support for ICOM Events (IE)

-Plan and supervise the daily/monthly departmental operations
-Provide application and system support for the ICOM M-Mobility initiative
 
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

-Candidate must possess at least Certificate or Diploma in Audio Production/Engineering.

-Strong skills in providing technical assistance in audio system and software (Digidesign, Pro-Tool, Apple Logic etc)

-Strong organizational skills, time management and ability to produce quality work while meeting timelines

-Successful candidate will be provided training under ICOM’s professional development program and will have the opportunity to engage in extensive music technology work.
 
 
OUTLINE SCOPE OF WORK

-Provide front desk support to students on all matters relating to course offerings, financial aid, housing and student activities

-Manage all aspects of student records management

 
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

-Minimum SPM

-Good interpersonal skills with language proficiency in English & BM

-Excellent computer proficiency

 

General Requirements:
Full-Time positions available for 5 days’ week.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
Experienced in working at college environment and/or Music education/background will be an added advantage.
