Certificate
in Audio Production
A career in audio production is exciting, and filled with opportunities to collaborate with creative minds that share the passion just like you. Imagine the radio playing music that you engineered, or you behind an audio console, mixing live sound for a rock band performing in front of thousands of pumped up fans. If this describes your idea of work, then the Certificate of Audio Production (CAP) at is your first step towards making it a reality.
Since the career paths in audio production are not limited to just one area, our curriculum is designed to let you experience the different roles that you will assume as a successful industry professional. The learning and teaching activities take a hands-on approach, and you will develop the skills you need to handle state of the art recording and live sound systems through engineering actual recording sessions and live sound productions.

"I enrolled in CAP because it was a short, 3 semesters programme, but who knew the intensity of learning and the experience I gained - from hands on classes, to engineering sound for weekly Friday performances and tribute concerts – all within 18 months! The lecturers are equally empowering and motivating, letting us learn through experience and from our mistakes to become better 'engineers' in the field"

“CAP provides a great platform for hands on learning and working in actual audio production projects. The lecturers played a big role in inspiring me to achieve my dreams, and I now work for a leading sound and light rental company with many international concerts to its credits, and meeting great engineers and artists from around the world. The "road" would not have been this easy, if not for the great foundation and experience I received at ICOM!"
